2017 Makery Summer Camps Registration is open!

We are excited to be offering two one-week Makery Summer Art Camps for the 3rd year in a row!  Each year, we create entirely new art experiences for our summer camps while deepening your child’s connection to art within a community. Spots will fill up fast, so register your child soon, and pass this to anyone you might know who’d be interested!

Here are the details:

August 14-18/ 9-3pm / M-F/ Recycled Art Camp

Lakewood/Seward Community Club (4916 S Angeline St)

Ages 5-9

$325

(Option to drop-off at 8:30am for $10/day fee. Option to have extended care at the end of the day with Camp Counselor, Connie Ostrowksi. Inquire when registering.)

Description: This camp will provide experiential art activities using reclaimed and recycled materials. Kids will explore reusing everyday objects to make art! The Lakewood Community Club will be our home-base, and each day will involve making unique recycled art projects, playing games, collecting found objects for sculptures, outdoor play and having lots of fun!

Description: Bring out the nature-loving artist in your child with this camp. We will explore the connection between art and nature as we work with natural mediums. The Lakewood Community Club will be our home-base, and each day will involve nature-based art projects, games, nature walks & collecting, outdoor play, and lots of fun!
