A Few Words from Parents:
A guest recently marveled at the level of beauty produced at The Makery by my 2 year old. My son now loves “art” time at home. His training at the Makery in using art tools and supplies makes art time much more enjoyable for me too. There is less coaching about where the tools go (not on the dog) and less fuss over cleaning up. Thanks for a great program!
Amber Morgan has been teaching these really neat toddler art classes down in Seward Park. She sets up thematic art ‘installations’ where little ones can wander around interacting and experimenting with art. One time she made a bear cave. One time she put bags and bags of cotton in a kiddie pool and let them swim around in it. One time she made giant paintbrushes that were as big as the kids and let them paint all over butcher paper on the floor. I’ve been a few times with my son, and its super fun.
